Q. Is this MA-CEL accredited?
[back to list of questions] Q. Is the program accepted as preparation
for a Specialist, PhD, or EdD? [back
to list of questions] Q. Who is Learning Quest Associates, Inc. and
how does this organization support learning communities? [back
to list of questions] Several years ago school administrators and practitioners identified a need: Teachers should experience the kind of learning which is being called for as the world's demands on learning change-a critical key to transforming schools for kids. Alternative professional development and graduate study delivery models were reviewed. More than four years of research and work with a variety of organizations, including the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards and classroom practitioners took place. As the program evolved, teachers helped with the development of expectations and the structure, along with colleges and universities. Fielding indicated an interest in the program and has
started this collaboration experience. The program continues to grow and
redefine itself. More colleges and universities are becoming involved,
with the support of Learning Quest. Fielding will become the eighth higher
education organization to join the program. This is exciting because we
know it will make a difference for our learners and their pre-K-16 learners! |
